In our busy world, one of the hardest to find non-renewable resources we have is time. As a self-employed, father of a family of 6 - mealtime is one of the only chances I get to see the family together. It's an important time for us. This last week my spouse and I were debating what we could make for dinner the following night with only a short period of time available (a common debate in our home). My wife thought it might be nice to mix things up a little and suggested the Tandoori Chicken packet a friend had given to us. So that morning we opened the packet, combined the chicken with the marinade and went to work. When we got home I started the rice portion of the meal (rice cooker), while she helped the kids. A few minutes later she carmelized the onions and bell peppers while I set the table and watched the kids. Within a reasonably short period of time we were all sitting down to a great home-cooked meal that didn't break the bank and gave us more time together as a family - Thank You Veena for the wonderful family dining experience... we'll be back to place an order soon, although this time I think we'll try the curry just to mix it up again!
